The four-corner arrangement refers to the arrangement of a direct-current burner at the four corners of the furnace, with its nozzle centerline tangent to an imaginary circle in the center of the furnace. The disadvantage of the four corner arrangement is that the air duct arrangement is relatively complex, but the combustion is relatively stable. It is suitable for a variety of fuels (including lignite, bituminous coal, lean coal, etc.).
